ABOUT MANDANA

After successfully completing a dual B.A. (Hons) European Business degree in the UK and a B.B.A. European Management degree in Finland, Mandana pursued a career in business. She enjoyed working for some of the World’s best known brands but after a gap year travelling to Italy and Greece, decided to pursue her childhood passion for jewellery, fashion and design.

Returning to three further years of full-time study, she enrolled at Kensington and Chelsea College to learn about three-dimensional design, focusing on jewellery, and graduated in 2006 with a First Class triple grade Distinction and award for outstanding work.

Since her graduation, Mandana has been selected to participate in a number of prestigious exhibitions and invited to show her work around the country and abroad. In 2007, she was selected as one of only 16 new ‘up-and-coming jewellery design stars’ in the UK to showcase her collection at the highly respected ‘One Year On’ section on New Designers. She has also exhibited at some of the UK’s best fairs including the 'Goldsmiths' Company Pavilion', ‘Origin - The Contemporary Craft Fair’ and is a regular exhibitor at ‘Dazzle’ exhibitions. In 2010 she was included in the ‘Best of Worldwide Jewelry Artists’ series in the USA.

In 2011 one of her creations was modelled on the catwalk by actress and model Liberty Ross at the star-studded ‘Trust in Fashion’ event, held in aid of the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, alongside work by design greats including Stella McCartney, Manolo Blahnik and Dior.

2012 proved to be yet another amazing year as Mandana was one of only 10 jewellery designers selected for ‘KickStart’ at International Jewellery London; an initiative highlighting, directly to the Jewellery Industry, designers viewed as ‘talent of the future’.

In 2013, Mandana was invited for inclusion to the prestigious Goldsmiths' Company Directory 'Who's Who in Gold and Silver' - listing Britain's leading designers in hallmarked precious metals; in 2014 she collaborated with the iconic British Museum during their major 'Vikings: Life and Legend' exhibition; and in 2015 was selected as part of a group of 10 jewellery designers to represent UK jewellery talent at 'Inhogenta' in Munich, Germany.

Mandana works from her Central London studio in Clerkenwell, located by London’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Hatton Garden.
