Monochrome classic freshwater pearl necklace

Jewellery Focus Magazine: Making a splash.

The latest issue of Jewellery Focus Magazine is out and I’m very happy to see one of my pearl necklaces featured in this lovely article written by Janet Fitch. Here’s what she had to say:

“Mandana Oskoui’s designs show a striking and unusual way with pearls. Her Monochrome Classic freshwater pearl necklace features 10 millimeter baroque pearls individually knotted onto a chunky rutile clasp of oxidised silver set with a round faceted white topaz. The clasp is cleverly designed to be worn at the back, assymetrically at the side, or as a focal point at the front.”

Jewellery Focus magazine – july 2012 – p17

The ‘Monochrome Classic Freshwater Pearl Necklace’ is a core piece in the ‘Formations’ collection uniquely designed (as with all Mandana Oskoui pearl and gemstone necklaces) for the clasp to be a feature of the piece as Janice has mentioned in her article. The clasp can be worn to the front, back or asymetrically to the side of the neck allowing versatility and change for the wearer.
