If you get a chance, check out the latest issue of Marie Claire magazine, which is out today. There’s a little review of the ‘Trust in Fashion’ event I took part in last month and they’ve included a photo of Liberty Ross wearing my donated necklace at her table during the evening.
Here’s what they had to say about the event and the amazing charity which it supported:
“LONDON’S MOST STYLISH TURNED OUT TO SUPPORT CHILDREN’S CHARITY RAINBOW TRUST.
Champagne corks popped, models sashayed and the great and the good dug deep for a worthy cause at the inaugural Trust In Fashion event.
The VIP launch and catwalk show was hosted by Marie Claire’s Trish Halpin and actress Sadie Frost in aid of the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which helps the families of children who are seriously ill.
‘Friends of mine have children with terminal illnesses, and they don’t have the support they need,’ said Sadie. ‘So when I heard about the Trust, I had to get involved.’
She wasn’t alone – celebrity supporters turned out in force to help raise money, with Liberty Ross, Poppy Delevigne, Jo Wood and Brigitte Nielsen among the names bidding for money-can’t-buy designer lots in the charity auction.
Model and blogger Bip Ling took to the decks to DJ during the catwalk show, while models from Storm, including Cara Delevigne and Jourdan Dunn, showed off the latest looks from My Wardrobe, Bodyamr and Kruszynska.”Marie claire magazine – September 2001 – P151
