The Summer Open Studios at Craft Central, the Contemporary Craft Festival at Bovey Tracey and the fabulous launch/reveal event for ‘KickStart’ at the amazing new Goldsmiths’ Centre have all come and gone in what seems like a flash and I can’t believe how quickly time is flying by yet again!
I’ll be blogging about being selected for KickStart soon, but first wanted to update my blog with a few new pieces I’ve been working on within the ‘Black and Gold’ collection.
I have introduced some gorgeous golden citrine to the ‘Black & Gold’ collection and I adore these new pieces! I love the combination of metals with the gemstone… Have a look for yourselves.
ONE-OF-A-KIND ‘BLACK & GOLD’ CITRINE GEMSTONE BEAD NECKLACE
Made from sterling silver that has been oxidised and 9ct yellow gold. Strung with faceted citrine gemstone beads that have been arranged in sections alongside my signature handmade rutile chain.
The is necklace is approx. 100cm long and can be worn in multiple ways (long, doubled up etc). It has the Mandana Oskoui unique signature ‘double chunky rutile’ clasp which as with all Mandana Oskoui gemstone necklaces is designed to be a feature that can be worn the front, back or asymmetrically to the side.
‘BLACK & GOLD’ SMALL RUTILE FORMATION PENDANT
Made from sterling silver that has been oxidised, 9ct yellow gold and a 6x4mm emerald cut citrine gemstone. The gemstone has been set in a double gallery claw setting.
‘BLACK & GOLD’ CITRINE CHUNKY RUTILE STUDS
Made from sterling silver that has been oxidised and 9ct yellow gold. Set with two 6×4 emerald cut citrines in a double gallery 9ct yellow gold claw setting.
I am currently working on the new updated website which will have these pieces added and I look forward to showing you the other new pieces in the lead up to and at KickStart at IJL.
